Kaeloo
Kaeloo is a 3D animation series that follows the adventures of Kaeloo the frog and his two friends, Moignon the squirrel and Coin-Coin the duck. In this tutorial, you are introduced to Roadkill UV, a freeware application that serves as a fairly simple, straightforward, and fast way of unfolding 3D models and laying out UVs. Roadkill can be used in conjunction with any program that can import/export obj files, such as Maya, 3DS Max, or Softimage. This video demonstrates the unwrapping of simple objects – a cube and a torus – then steps you through using Roadkill to unwrap an entire character.
